Lifts

We perform certification of lifts to requirements of Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of Latvia No. 206 of 05.04. 2016 “Regulations for assessing compliance of design, production and installation of lifts and safety components for lifts” and to requirements of EU Directive 2014/33/EU relating to lifts and safety components for lifts.

TUV NORD Baltik is designated by the European Commission as notified body number 1409 to assess the conformity of lifts and to issue certificates of conformity for lifts according to the following modules of Directive 2014/33/EU:

• Module B: EU-type examination for lifts and safety components for lifts
• Module G: Conformity based on verification for lifts.
